Being ‘green’ can save energy and money too!

I recently decided that I wanted to explore more ways to be ‘green’ and save money too.
Maybe you haven’t considered this but many appliances even when turned off are still drawing electricity. This includes large appliances like stoves, washers and dryers.
Since you may only use some of these large appliances once in a while -unless you’re doing laundry every day. (make sure it’s a full load!)
Unplugging these large appliances isn’t always practical or convenient. What to do? Simply go to your home’s fusebox. Find the switch that supplies power to the targeted appliance and flip that switch to off. I’ve done that with both my dryer and washer.
